PUNCTURED!

In fifty-plus years on a bike I have suffered many punctures, some more spectacular than others – for example, two-up at 70mph in the fast lane of the M1. Fortunately the car driver behind us was a motorcyclist as well and knew as soon as I did and gave us space to fall off. So can I claim a first? The nail in my BM back tyre appears to have come out from the inside!
