CLASSIC COMEBACK

I have got my 1960 Royal Enfield Super Meteor on the road at last. It’s not original, and is in fact a bitsa. But I don’t care. It’s another old Brit on the road and I’m loving it. I need to thank Mike Mead over in Kent for doing most of the problem solving and the engine rebuild for me. If anyone wants to see an original Super Meteor there’s a nice red one in the National Motorcycle Museum.

This photo was taken on my favourite shakedown route along the South Downs. When I got home from that ride the latest issue of Realclassic was on the doormat. Perfect! Thank you Frank and Rowena for the best classic bike magazine out there. Long may it continue. Mike Mason, member 11,423
