ALL MATERIAL in Realclassic is copyright its authors, so please contact us before reproducing anything. Realclassic is printed by Acorn Web Offset Ltd of Normanton. Our ISSN is 1742-2345 THIS MONTH we’ve been reading ALLIANCE RISING by CJ Cherryh, old-school sci-fi in which not a lot happens on a space station; FOOD FOR LIFE by Tim Spector (basically, eat more plants); HOW NOT TO DIE-T by Michael Greger (eat even more plants); NORTON DOMINATOR
SERVICE NOTES by the Norton OC team (you can work it out), and ALLIANCES and TREASON by Timothy Zahn (books 2 and 3 in the awesome Star Wars Thrawn series). Amazing…
MEANWHILE AT THE MOVIES we dozed off during THE HUNTING OF THE SNARK which was way too weird for words; have almost reached the end of THE WITCHER and can’t hardly bear to watch the final episode; were roundly disappointed by MAYFAIR WITCHES which doesn’t do justice to the original novels; and totally recommend HOW I BECAME A SUPERHERO which is actually the finest kind of French noir cinema (despite the terrible title)
