Real Crime - - Minute By Minute -

Santa Barbara Police officers “manually breach” Rodger’s locked apartment in the hope that his personal belongings can shed some light on why he carried out the mass shooting. They find the blood- soaked bodies of Weihan, Cheng and George.

Detectives meet with Rodger’s parents in a car park close to the scene of the crash and tell them that their son is dead. The parents, evidently distraught that their son is behind the rampage and has now taken his own life, agree to cooperate with police to piece together the details leading up to the massacre.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown holds a press conference, and confirms that seven people have been killed, including the suspect, and seven more injured. He concludes that the victims were targeted at a total of ten different crime scenes.
