Real Homes - - Q & A -

budget panels are usually ‘dip treated’ in a solution that gives the timber short-term protection. the dip gives it an orange hue that will dull over time. Pressure-treated panels have been in a pressurised vessel that forces the preservative solution deeper into the timber, protecting it for longer and giving it a more natural colour. While both of these stop the wood from rotting, timber panels will be more durable and look better with the application of a fence/shed treatment.
