Compare before you decide

It’s important to get quotations from different building contractors before you pick the firm you’ll work with. Get three or four quotations: ideally, they’ll be from companies you’ve had recommended to you. Check references and make sure they’ve worked on projects like yours. But remember that although you do want to maximise your budget, cheapest doesn’t equal best. Be wary of a price that’s significantly below others.
