SHARING THE DOMESTIC LOAD
In our October issue, Robert Webb wrote about his shame at letting his wife take on more of the domestic chores, and his intention to be a better role model. Many of you were heartened by his honesty.
Kiran Sembhi wrote: “Thank you Robert Webb for sharing your thoughts and acknowledging we have a responsibility to form the model of what a good man is.”
Rebecca Higgins said it made her feel positive about parenting. “While I cannot wait to leap into motherhood, I need to know I can count on my husband to value my time in the same way he values his,” she wrote. “I’m hopeful I’ll still feel like me too.”
@gabriellesander tweeted:
“Wise words from @arobertwebb in @Redmagdaily on how to be an adult (rather than the nonsensical term, ‘real man’).” @scblackmore agreed: “@arobertwebb Spot on – our children are so observant of who does what at home #adultingishard.” Our mail of the month wins an Elemis goodie bag of anti-ageing skincare, worth £130. With the Pro-collagen Marine Mask (50ml) and Pro-collagen Marine Cream (50ml), you can say hello to soft and supple skin. This month’s star letter prize goes to Kiran Sembhi, mentioned left.
