Treatment on trial

-

Dermablading WHAT IS IT? The word that springs to mind is lady shaving, but in fact this curious treatment, which involves removing dead skin using a scalpel (and along with it the fine hairs on your face), is actually classed as an exfoliation.

WHY I TRIED IT: I’m a sucker for the complexion boost that is exfoliation and this sounded thorough, to say the least. I was also sold on the idea that by removing the hair, you eliminate the shadows they cast, thereby helping skin look more luminous.

DID IT WORK? The difference was subtle, but my skin definitely looked and felt smooth, and I loved how seamlessly foundation glided on. Did it take my complexion to the next level? Possibly. Did the hair grow back as stubble? Luckily not.

WHO TO SEE: Tine Hagelquist at Dr Sebagh (drsebagh.com) is an absolute pro.
