If you don’t think of your­self as par­tic­u­larly an­gry, you might be re­press­ing this pow­er­ful emo­tion, or man­i­fest­ing it in­di­rectly. You may have found ef­fec­tive ways of chan­nelling it, such as through sport. But even if this is the case, stop to con­sider how you man­age your feel­ings of frus­tra­tion, of not be­ing able to do or get what you want, of feel­ing you need to bite your lip. It’s im­por­tant to get to the bot­tom of what is caus­ing your anger. There will be sur­face trig­gers, but what is it that lies be­neath? Do you feel trapped by life’s de­mands, or taken for granted?
