Recognise your anger
If you don’t think of yourself as particularly angry, you might be repressing this powerful emotion, or manifesting it indirectly. You may have found effective ways of channelling it, such as through sport. But even if this is the case, stop to consider how you manage your feelings of frustration, of not being able to do or get what you want, of feeling you need to bite your lip. It’s important to get to the bottom of what is causing your anger. There will be surface triggers, but what is it that lies beneath? Do you feel trapped by life’s demands, or taken for granted?
