MY CAN’T-MISS PODCAST IS… The Two Shot Podcast. It’s hosted by Craig Parkinson (Line Of Duty) who discusses the highs and lows of being an actor with a guest each week.

THE CANDLE I LOVE TO LIGHT IS… Byredo’s Vanquish. It has a lovely earthy fragrance.

MY FOODIE WEAKNESS IS… Fresh bread. I’d happily eat the focaccia from Gloriosa restaurant in Glasgow every day if I could!

WHEN I SEND FLOWERS, I CALL… MUD Urban Flowers. They always smell divine.

MY ONE-STOP MORNING COFFEE SHOP IS… Papercup in Glasgow’s West End, or Laboratorio, which does delicious little cannolis that go perfectly with an oat milk flat white.

ON TOAST, I LOVE TO SPREAD… Butter and Marmite, always.

MY FAVOURITE PAIR OF SHOES IS FROM… A pair of box-fresh Nike Air Force 1s is one of my favourite things in the world.

MY SIGNATURE SCENT IS… Cologne Indelebile by Frédéric Malle. I first got it in Liberty 10 years ago and now I feel like it smells like me.

THE SHADE I ALWAYS PAINT MY NAILS… Dark blue is a favourite, or neon with a bit of nail art on top.

THE BOOK I KEEP ON MY BEDSIDE TABLE IS… A brilliant book of essays called Your Silence Will Not Protect You by Audre Lorde. She was a badass.

THE BOXSET I REWATCH OVER AND OVER IS… Grey’s Anatomy. I’ve been watching it for 15 years!

MY FAVOURITE HOTEL FOR A WEEKEND AWAY IS… The Bowery Hotel in New York’s Lower East Side. It has a cosy, romantic vibe with a great little cocktail bar.

THE ALBUM I’LL NEVER GROW TIRED OF IS… Blue by Joni Mitchell, which has to be one of the best things ever written.

MY BEST HOLIDAY WAS… Three years ago, my friend and I went to Barbados post-christmas. We had the most relaxing time ever.

THE THING I CAN’T STOP BUYING FOR MY HOME IS… Old Ercol furniture. I refurbish it and get it reupholstered. Let’s just say we now need a bigger house to fit it all in!

WHEN I WANT TO CRY WITH LAUGHTER, I CALL… My partner, Iain. If ever something was serious and needed to be turned into a laugh, he’s the person I’d go to.

THE SONG THAT GETS ME ON THE DANCEFLOOR IS… Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody. You can’t not boogie to it.

MY FOOLPROOF DINNER PARTY DISH IS… Roast salmon with fennel, baby potatoes, butter and garlic. It all roasts in one dish, so it’s super easy.

THE MANTRA I LIVE BY IS…

‘Be here now.’ It’s about living in the moment and trying not to carry baggage from the past or prophesise too much about the future. That’s a constant battle for us all, isn’t it?
