THE BAREST OF THEM ALL

The barest of them all

We’re loving the neutral nail trend

There’s a lot to love about neutral nails: they’re elegantly understated, easy to maintain (chips are less noticeable on nude hues), instantly elongating and pair perfectly with whatever you choose to wear. Even better, modern brands, such as Peacci, Télle Moi, and Emolyne, go beyond pale beige and ballet pinks to taupe, toasted caramel and dreamy, saturated mauve. Elsewhere, Nails Inc., Sally Hansen and Pillbox Cosmetics make richly pigmented vegan colours (the latter creating personalised polishes; just send them a shade and they’ll match it). And for a 1970s brown that’s near universally flattering, look to Dior Wild Earth – as chic as it is long-wearing.
