ON BEING MINDFUL...

ON HER TRAINING REGIME...
‘When I was younger, the workout I got from dancing every day was always enough. Then I grew older – and it wasn’t! So now I do weight training, yoga and Pilates, and a lot of cardio. My husband is building us a gym at the back of our house, so I have no excuses!’
ON HER DIET...
‘I eat what’s good for my body, but I don’t restrict myself. If I want something, I’ll eat it, and then I’ll work out afterwards. I’ve learned to never look at my body and see what I don’t have. You have to be kind to yourself.’
ON THE POWER OF TALKING...
‘I like to talk a lot. I talk with people that I look up to – my friends and my husband, who’s quite mentally strong. He’s very grounded and I think because we’ve grown together, I’m able to open my mind to hearing what he says and seeing things from another perspective.’
ON HER SUPPORT NETWORK...
‘I have a good system of people around me. My friends are really supportive, positive and real, and they will tell me if I’ve done something wrong, or if I shouldn’t do something. If I’m down, there’s always someone that cares – and that’s really important.’
