MY CAN’T-MISS PODCAST IS…

I want to start The Hoffman Podcast . It’s a collection of conversations with people who have done a week-long retreat called the Hoffman Process, which is something I’d love to do myself.

THE CANDLE I LOVE TO LIGHT IS…

Anything by Jo Malone. Though I have to admit, every time I light one, my northern sensibilities kick in and I think, ‘How many pounds have I just burnt?’

MY SIGNATURE LIPSTICK IS…

I have an amazing Chanel palette, full of brown, burgundy and neutral colours. I love them all.

MY FAVOURITE INDEPENDENT SHOP IS…

No 1 Wendover in Buckinghamshire, for its gorgeous homeware and beautiful giftwrapping.

MY FOODIE WEAKNESS IS…

Crisps. I thought I was coping fine after being voted off Strictly last year, then I realised I’d eaten a family-sized bag of Wotsits!

WHEN I SEND FLOWERS, I CALL…

Interflora for a simple gift, or Appleyard Flowers for something a bit quirkier.

MY ONE-STOP MORNING COFFEE SHOP IS…

An Italian place called Ravello in Westminster.

ON TOAST, I LOVE TO SPREAD…

Marmite. My son, Tushaan, and I will be in bed and one of us will suddenly say, ‘Shall we have crumpets with Marmite?’

MY FAVOURITE PAIR OF SHOES ARE

FROM… Years ago, I bought a pair of gold, peep-toe wedges from Jimmy Choo and to this day, they’re the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.

THE BOOK I KEEP ON MY BEDSIDE

TABLE IS… The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. My sister gave it to me years ago and I find it comforting to have it there.

THE BOXSET I REWATCH OVER AND OVER IS…

Modern Family. Tushaan and I watched it during lockdown.

THE ALBUM I’LL NEVER GROW TIRED OF IS…

The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill – it’s everything.

THE THING I CAN’T STOP BUYING

FOR MY HOME IS… Cushions. I love random prints and whenever I see a nice one I think, ‘Oh, that will go there.’

MY BEST-EVER HOLIDAY WAS…

A trip to Iceland in 2019. We saw the northern lights and Tushaan, who was seven at the time, said, ‘Mum, I’m going to remember this until I’m 80.’

THE SONG THAT GETS ME ON THE DANCEFLOOR IS…

End Of Time by Beyoncé; it’s the first song I danced to on Strictly.

MY FOOLPROOF DINNER PARTY

DISH IS… Roasted vegetable lasagne. I pack it full of Mediterranean vegetables and Indian spices, and it’s always a massive hit.

THE MANTRA I LIVE BY IS…

Count your blessings. It can be quite hard to remember but there are always blessings, even when things are a bit sh*t.
