It can be surprising to see what’s lurking forgotten at the back of a cupboard, and often it’s best just to let go; there’s no point holding on to things that aren’t right or are never used. Discard past-their-best beauty products, recycling where possible. Books, DVDS and electronics can be sold as bundles on apps such as Ziffit or Musicmagpie. Unwanted clothing can be sold individually on sites such as Vestiaire Collective and ebay, but it’s often simpler and kinder to donate them to a charity shop.
