It will come as no surprise to learn that out of the original ports of Venture the version for Coleco’s own console is by far the best. The most notable difference from its rivals is in the visuals, as the high-resolution graphics here are almost identical to the arcade game. It’s easy to see why Coleco used this as a poster child for its console.
