A History Of Video Games In 64 Objects
While the title is a little misleading (there’s an entry on Dungeons & Dragons and other non-videogame products), there’s no denying that this is an enjoyable read. Created by two Phds, Jon-paul C Dyson and Jeremy K Saucier, it’s filled with fascinating information about its 64 topics and has some truly gorgeous photography. It’s a little US centric (there’s virtually nothing on the European home computer scene for example) but that’s the only real complaint we have of this tome. Price: £20 From: amazon.co.uk
