DREAMCAST, 2000
SNK isn’t well known for its music games, but this Japan-exclusive rhythm action title is a treat. Playing as either Amp or Spica, you’re dragged into the TV by a cartoon rabbit named Yusa who wants you to clean up Cool Cool Town with your dancing. It’s a bit of a bizarre premise but the unique game design utilising the Dreamcast’s analogue stick and buttons is rock solid, the tunes are excellent, and Ippei Gyoubu’s art gives the game an inimitable style.
