MOJON MADNESS
The ever-busy Mojon Twins has been working on a NES game engine called
AGNES and, as a demonstration of what the team’s hard work is capable of, has also released the game Espitene which attempts to recreate much of the gameplay from
Sonic The Hedgehog on the Master System. The ROM image and further information can be downloaded from the Nesdev forum behind Kikstart.me.uk/espitene-nes – the controls are more than a little twitchy, so you’ll need some practice, but it seems decently put-together from the quick test we gave it.
