CASTLEVANIA III: DRACULA’S CURSE

-

DEVELOPER: RELEASE:

There are three Castlevania games available for the NES, and unsurprisingly the best one is also the game that fetches the highest prices. The Japanese version is generally most coveted as it features an enhanced soundtrack, it’s also a little easier than the western versions, which is also worth considering. Prices for a cart start at around £35 with a complete version selling

KONAMI 1989

for around £80.

Shelling out £35 will also net you a PAL cartridge.

Boxed versions start at £150 and can climb to just over £200. Alternatively, if your console can play it, we’d suggest tracking down the NTSC US version as it is properly optimised and has classier artwork.
