CASTLEVANIA: ARIA OF SORROW
DEVELOPER: RELEASE:
All the GBA Castlevania games are worth owning but the final entry remains our favourite. It’s similar in many ways to Symphony Of The Night, featuring a levelling up system and the

intriguing ‘Tactical Soul’ mechanic which allows hero Soma to absorb the souls of enemies and then use them to enhance his own powers. Today, this GBA classic is pricey, with a cart of the European version costing around the £35 mark. Complete is even more expensive, with prices ranging from £60 to £140. Although the Japanese version sold pretty poorly it’s relatively easy to source and goes for around £68. The American version is similarly priced. Alternatively you can buy a European double pack which includes Harmony Of Dissonance for £40 to £95.
