As you’d expect, prices for the Super Nintendo vary depending on what you want. A PAL or Japanese system typically starts from £40 unboxed, while similar US machines have been selling for around the £90 mark. Systems bundled with games or in mint boxes can end up in the high hundreds .
BURNING RANGERS
Want to relive this month’s classic moments? You’ll need deep pockets. The PAL version ranges from £75 to £196 , while a US copy fetches between £300 and £513 ! The Japanese version is cheaper at £25+ but does have a language barrier.
ROCKET KNIGHT ADVENTURES
This epic Konami game isn’t massively expensive. PAL carts start at £15 , while complete versions hit £40 . The US version sells for £50+ complete, while the Japanese version hits highs of £115 .
KNIGHT TYME
Every version of David Jones’ 8-bit sci-fi sequel is nice and cheap and won’t cost more than a fiver . The Spectrum version has the most range with prices starting at £1.20 and rising from there.
METROID FUSION
Nintendo’s original GBA adventure is all over the place in terms of prices. Carts range from £10 to £40 , while complete boxed copies start at £22 . The US and Japanese versions are even pricier.
SCREAMER
If you weren’t put off by the compatibility issues Darran faced, you can pick up a PC jewel case copy for no more than £2 . The big box edition regularly hits a tenner .
LURE OF THE TEMPTRESS
Atari ST copies start at a quid and top out at £15 , while the Amiga version ranges from £5 to £20 . The PC outing is costlier, selling between £10 and £75 .
