Definitely the Game Gear. Most titles are reasonably priced, and the box art is usually interesting. Helpfully the little plastic boxes have kept the carts in good health after all this time, too!

Neo Geo Pocket Color. I love the clam-shell cases that we got in Europe, like mini versions of the AES cases.

I would say the original Nintendo DS, as games are still available in charity shops and trading shops for decent prices.

I’m finding that the PSP is my favourite handheld to collect for. I find its library really varied in terms of Eastern and Western gaming influences. Add in the UMDS and it makes it a pretty perfect handheld.

The GBA. The games on that system were amazing and there was such variety. RPGS, platformers, action games, plus the carts are small so they don’t take up a lot of space.
