Ducati Multistrada 1200
The more-expensive S model has electronically adjusted semi-active suspension, but the base Multistrada’s conventional kit does a great job anyway. The muscular V-twin engine has variablevalve for silky smooth drive, even at the bottom end – and gives it a serious set of legs when the taps are opened. It’s also great two-up. “Getting on is easy, the seat is plenty big enough, comfy and the grabrails are positioned just right, if you use them,” says Caroline. “My knees didn’t feel cramped and the footpegs were just right. It’s a good two-up machine and I’d happily tour on it.”
