Jeff Core 70, Honda CB500X “I passed my test four years ago and I’ve done nearly 12,000 miles since. I’ve always thought I should do more training, so Bikesafe seemed a good way to see what I’m doing wrong.” Mark Edwards 44, Triumph Daytona 675 “I just ride for leisure, around a 1000 miles a year, but sometimes with my wife riding pillion. I’m hoping to find out a bit more about my strengths and weaknesses as a rider.” Jamie Heptonstall 40, BMW R1200 GSA “Last year I was taken out at a T-junction and it shook my confidence a bit. So I want someone to look at my riding and tell me if there’s anything I’m doing wrong.” Nick Jacklin 51, Triumph Trophy SE “I do 5000 miles a year, with at least one trip to Scotland and another to Germany. I’ve just joined ROSPA, but I want Bikesafe to check that the things I’m doing are the right things.” Adrian Jones 47, Triumph Tiger 1050 “I do 6000 miles a year, all commuting on the M1. So I want guidance from people with more experience than me – hopefully so I can enjoy riding, rather than riding because I have to.” Stan Shires 46, Triumph Tiger 800 “If I’ve had a lay-off I know I need to slow down, bed myself in and get back up to speed. So for me this is about reminding myself of what I’m doing and building up confidence again.” Matt Smith 44, Kawasaki Versys 1000 “I passed my test three years ago, and do about 1000 miles per year – self-employment gets in the way. I want to pick up any hints and tips, and get a few pointers on where I’m going wrong.”
