ABOUT THIS BIKE

Honda CB500X Expect to pay £5799 www.honda.co.uk Engine 471cc parallel twin Power 47bhp Torque 31ft/lb Kerb weight 196kg Seat height 810mm Fuel capacity 17.5 litres Fuel consumption 83mpg Licence needed A2

Hailing from the same bloodline as the massively popular CRF1000L Africa Twin, the CB500X is every bit ready for your first biking adventure, whether in the urban jungle or touring on a weekend escape - all for riders with an A2 licence. The ruggedly styled CB500X has a smooth liquid-cooled 500cc parallel twin and long-travel suspension to take on rough country roads. A generous 17.5-litre fuel tank and great fuel economy let you ride a long way between fill-ups. The CB500X is now available with three years’ affordable finance, either on a PCP scheme or personal loan, from your Honda dealer. So how does it work? The personal loan is essentially what it says, a personal loan. The PCP scheme lets you put down a deposit, then a guaranteed minimum future value (GMFV) is calculated. The dealer then deducts this from the price of the bike and monthly payments are what’s left. At the end of the deal, either choose to pay the GMFV and keep the bike, return it, or part-exchange it for a new bike.

Who are Honda?

In 1948, co-founders Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa started the Honda Motor Co Ltd with the introduction of its first motorcycle, the aptly named Dream D-type motorcycle. The firm went on to become the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles by 1964. With bikes like the Motogp replica RC213V-S, Honda continues to lead and innovate under its ‘Dream’ philosophy, building motorcycles, cars, aircraft and

power equipment.
