More cracking riding routes
With the sun finally appearing in the sky, RIDE readers are taking part in the Great British Ride Out, discovering great riding.
The idea is simple. We’ve created more than 180 waypoints across the country at interesting places — from castles to cafés, lighthouses to dealers. They’re all surrounded by excellent roads — the aim is to link ones you fancy to make a great route. That’s your Great British Ride Out.
You can take part by going to www.ride.co.uk/gbro which links to the interactive map powered by Motogoloco, making route creation a doddle. Once you’ve made your route, save it with the letters “GBRO” in the name and share it with us for a chance of winning a prize. Here’s Brian Martin, last month’s winner, modelling his prize: a £150 Oxford Montreal 3.0 jacket. At the end of the year, the most popular route will win its creator a £449.99 HJC RPHA-90 flip-front helmet.
