Yamaha Tracer 900 GT
The sports-touring version of the Tracer 900 has a few modifications over standard. It gets a pair of 22-litre panniers as standard — if you want a topbox you’ll need the extra rack too. The seat is wider, the handlebars narrower and the rear grab handles are different. The swingarm is 60mm longer than the MT-09’S swinger, forks legs are gold-finished and suspension is adjustable. The forks have rebound damping adjustment on one leg and compression on the other. There’s a remote rear preload adjuster too. Radial brakes and ABS are the same as the Tracer, as is the engine and transmission but fuel capacity is up, to 18 litres. Up front there’s a full-colour TFT display, quickshifter, three engine modes and switchable traction control. Cruise control is standard, as are heated grips.
