This full day’s ride from Dave Gill shoots out from Taunton and into Devon. “This route should really make you smile,” says Dave. “It has plenty of bends and scenery.” It hits some of the best locations on the Devon coast — Westward Ho!, Widemouth Bay, Bude and the checkpoint at Hartland Quay. It returns to Taunton on a direct but brilliant combination of roads, inland through Holsworthy and Hatherly and past the checkpoint at the Devon Railway Centre.
