Optimate’s hard-wired battery connections are a useful addition to any bike – for charging, powering accessories or hooking up to a battery condition meter, for example. But it’s sometimes a pain having the end of the lead and the connector flapping around. The latest version fixes that, with the simple addition of a couple of loops on the sides so you can fix the connector to the frame or another convenient point. Apart from that, they’re unchanged – fitted with moulded connectors and a 15A inline fuse for safety, and compatible with any charger or accessory using the standard 2-pin SAE connector.
