For a fraction of the cost of top-performing bags is a rucksack that’s tough, dry, comfortable and has a large single external pocket. It manages weight well when riding, though a little sway is evident when partially loaded, but it’s very comfortable. Clearly, if you want to spend more there are better-specified bags on the market — but none is better value.
