WHAT IS IT?

A new-for-the-bike lightweight 689cc, fuel-injected parallel-twin engine, housed in a minimalist steel-trellis frame, with steel swingarm, conventional forks and monoshock rear suspension. ABS was an option on early models, now standard. Wheels and tyres are identical to the MT-09 (with 180-section rear) and brakes are from the previous FZ8.
