The affordable all-rounder gets an adventure redesign. Longer-travel suspension and a new 19in (rather than 17in) front wheel give a taller stance, raising seat height by 20mm to 830mm. The 471cc parallel twin gets a smidge more shove in the low and midrange, though peak figures are unchanged. Detail tweaks include improved wind protection, greater steering lock and new LCD clocks. The X has long been our favourite of Honda’s three 500s, and these tweaks should help make its character even more distinct from its F and R siblings. Hopefully price won’t rise much beyond £6000.
