Better breathing
Stainless and carbon Black Widow exhaust system is less than half the price of an Akrapovic, loses 2.3kg and the catalytic converter and gains noise. Time on a dyno could see more power too, though there is a noticeable effect without.

Better comfort
Aftermarket seats are popular, but Mark simply got a gelastic insert added to his stock seat — it’s a simple post-off service and other shapes or lowering can be done at the same time.

Better luggage
At 22 litres, these Givi boxes are the same capacity as the GT’S panniers. Their hinged top opening makes them easier to pack, while their plastic finish is tougher than the GT’S paint.
