Q How easy is it to work on?
Chain adjusters are conventional, thanks to twin-sided swingarm. Centrestand included with some versions, while swingarm has paddock-stand threads. Battery is easily accessed beneath the rider’s seat. If you want to keep your four-year warranty, you’ll be taking it to an official Ducati dealer for regular servicing. Beyond that, oil changes only needed every two years (or 9000 miles), which is a long-term labour-saver. However, simply checking the oil level is involved. The manual says run the engine until the fans cycle on twice, switch it off, then wait 15 minutes before checking the sightglass. Still, that’s a big improvement on the Panigale V4, which requires you to wait two hours.
