1 Mount Teide

Snow-capped volcano Teide dominates the island. The road round it wends through the jagged shapes of quick-drying lava and ash fields.

2 Mesca Valley

Home to the TF-436, one of the twistiest, most picturesque mountain roads in Tenerife. it clings to the cliffs, shrouded in low cloud.

3 Parque Rural Anaga

Unlike the rocky, barren south, the north is tropical, tree-lined and very green. Anaga shows the best of it, with trees, palms, coves and stunning views.
