THE REALITY You pair these with your phone and calibrate them to your personal temperature. The gloves then automatically switch the heating to maintain that. In use, the heating constantly cycles on and off rather than maintaining a level, which can be distracting. The fit and feel are reasonable and they are soft and supple and kept water out. While the cuffs are tricky to get over the jacket, they are better than the last pair of Ixons we tested.
