THE REALITY Fitting is straightforward, with clear instructions. As an electronic system, you don’t need to connect it up to a vacuum; just wire it to the battery. This latest v3.1 version self-calibrates, so you just set a starter flow rate and start riding. An accelerometer senses vibration and movement, so it only flows lube when the engine’s on and you’re riding. We’ve only had to top the oil up once in 5000 miles. Very impressive — though £250 isn’t cheap for this luxury.
