Lake District
My brother Neil and I spent a weekend in the Lake District recently.
This picture was taken looking back up Buttermere Fell with my brother’s BMW S1000XR and my Kawasaki Z1000SX. Barry Fairchild
Pyrenees, Spain
This was taken near Sant Llorenç de Morunys on my annual European trip based on RIDE’S routes. What a fabulous place to clock up 20,000 miles on my BMW K1300S — although the next day the alternator failed. Thanks for the routes — they make life so much easier! Tim Hibberd
Vosges, France
This is from our recent European tour into the Vosges mountains, Alsace and the B500 to Germany. My friend Neil (Tracer 900) and I took the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam and spent a week being awestruck at the roads in the Vosges — so much so we are planning to go back next year. My trusty 2002 Honda ST1300 Pan European didn’t miss a beat.

Glencoe, Scotland
You can't beat Glencoe for a picture; it always looks amazing whatever the weather but on this day it was a bit too toasty for the leathers. I’m certainly blessed to be living in Glasgow with so much choice for an amazing ride on my doorstep. Andy Knox
Reims, France
This picture was taken at the old GP circuit at Reims, a very atmospheric place. This was Helen’s first big trip abroad on her beloved Street Twin. We had a fantastic time touring Northern France and Belgium — beautiful empty roads, great food and biker-friendly people; what more could you want? Ghent in Belgium turned out to be a hidden gem and only a few hours from the Eurotunnel. John Hale
Yorkshire Dales
A quick stop during a fabulous ride out over the stunning Yorkshire Dales on one of the hottest days of the year. I rode from Leyburn to Hawes, Ingleton, Sedbergh, Reeth and Richmond. The Africa Twin is such a brilliant bike for these roads. Dave Layton
