Carol concert to raise cancer charity cash

AN annual carol concert which raises money for a cancer charity takes place in Whitworth next month.

The event will be presented by Whitworth Vale and Healey Brass Band together with the Whitworth branch of Cancer Research UK.

It will be held at The Riverside, Market Street on Sunday, December 4 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £7 available from the Riverside on 854130 or Michael Whitby on 852613. All monies will be donated to The Christie cancer centre.
