ROCHDALE CHRISTADELPHIANS

-

THE title of our Bible Hour this Sunday is: The Eden Project.

As Christadelphians, we believe in a literal creation of the universe, estimated to have taken place around 6,000 years ago. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve committed the first sin against God and since then humanity has been mortal and susceptible to suffering.

However, God has not left us in this state – he sent his son, described as “the last Adam” who lived his entire earthly life in service to his father.

It will not be long now before Jesus returns to the Earth to establish his kingdom.

Isaiah chapter 11 talks of Eden-like scenes of animals living in harmony with each other and with humans, SUNDAY’S service, led by the Rev Philip Baucham, will commence at 10.30am and will be followed by coffee and fellowship. All welcome.

Quizzing afternoon, followed by pie and peas, will be held on Saturday, March 3, at 2pm. Tickets: £5 each. Tel 01706 377685 or 373778.
