Longer days on road for Dale fans

ROCHDALE’S travelling supporters will clock up a total of 6,701 miles on their Sky Bet League One away day journeys in the 2018/19 season.

That makes away days almost 800 miles longer than last campaign, when Keith Hill’s men travelled a distance of 5,920.5 miles.

Dale’s longest return trip will again be to Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park at 598 miles.

With neighbouri­ng clubs Bury and Oldham both relegated to League Two last season, the shortest round journey will be to League One newcomers Accrington Stanley at 35.8 miles.
