Head man Lixon is cut above rest

Rochdale Observer - - TRAGEDY OF SWIM STAR WHO STRUGGLED TO CARE FOR DIS -

A BARBER proved he’s a cut above the rest, having been crowned one of the nation’s best.

Lixon Chaudhury, aged 25, who owns Studio2 on Entwisle Road, Rochdale, won the Males Fashion Look category in the National Hairdressers Federation (NHF) contest, Britain’s Best.

The competition took place on October at the UK’s largest hairdressing trade show, Salon International, held at ExCel London, where Lixon competed against barbers and stylists from across the country to create a stand-out look, judged by an expert panel.

NHF president Agnes Leonard said: “Britain’s Best is a highlight in the calendars of stylists and barbers across the country. This year did not disappoint – the level of talent from across the UK hotly contesting the top spot was outstanding, so Lixon should be proud of his huge achievement.”

Lixon described the look he created as ‘gold dyed Versace border line and little stubble to complement his facial features.’

This wasn’t the only victory for Studio2 in the competition, as Tazul Islam came in third place in the same category, after a contestant from Leighton Buzzard.
