Leak closes high school

A HIGH school was forced to close due to a leak in the building.

Falinge Park High School, in Rochdale, posted a statement on its website to inform parents about the closure on Tuesday, November 27.

It said there was a ‘significant leak’ in the building, on Falinge Road, but reopened as normal on Wednesday.

The statement said: “Due to a significant leak within the school building, we have made the decision to close the school on the grounds of health and safety.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience this closure may have caused to you and your families.”
