Last call for festive fishing contest

TODMORDEN Angling Society’s Christmas Match – Pete Barrow Memorial – takes place on 9th December.

It’s a ticket only event with tickets being available from Tight Line Shaw and Rochdale Angling.

Tickets are £15 (senior inc. pools) or £7 (junior no pools) including pie and peas dinner. Draw at the Falcon Hotel, Littleborough up to 9am – Fish 10am to 1pm. Breakfast available beforehand (payable).

Presentation back at the Falcon at 3pm followed by the raffle at 4pm. Members only match, bring your 2018 membership with you.

TAS 2019 memberships are now in tackle shops at the same rate as 2018, buy now and fish straight away taking advantage of the early bird offer and get 13 months fishing for the price of 12.

As with every year the season for the Cormorant and Goosander has started, if you have any sightings or any images of these birds on our waters please let us have them, the details of our predation team are in the membership book and are on the website.

Folly Dam is fishing well, fine you rigs down and feed little and often for a good mixed bag.
