Hospice tea room has reopened

-

SPRINGHILL Hospice have reopened their famous tea room and gift shop just in time for the Christmas.

The cafe formerly known as ‘Springhill Tea Rooms and Gift Shop at the Craven’ has reopened with the new name, ‘Coffee at the Craven.’

The café, which is based on Broad Lane, will have the new opening hours of 10am and 3pm Tuesday to Friday. The café has seen a refresh with the help of volunteers giving the walls a fresh lick of paint and a brand new coffee machine.

Julie Halliwell, chief executive of Springhill Hospice, said: “We are so excited to be re-opening Coffee at The Craven. We have taken time to smarten the place up, replace some old equipment and re-vamp our menus.

“We will be using Darkwoods Coffee, not only do they provide top quality, specialist coffee from farmers who are paid ethically, but they are also nestled in a small village just over the Pennines.”

The gift shop will also be reopening just in time for Christmas. Alongside a variety of homeware, gifts and stationery, customers will be able to buy homemade items created by a team of crafty volunteers for the hospice.
