Volunteers bring festive cheer

HOUSING association employee volunteers brought Christmas cheer to hundreds of local residents with a series of carol concerts.

The carollers visited nine independent living schemes to entertain residents with carols, conversation, mulled wine and mince pies.

The Rochdale Boroughwide Housing Carol Tour has become a Christmas tradition enjoyed by the residents at each of the schemes.

The volunteers, dressed in festive finery and belting out a range of carols and Christmas songs, received enthusiastic and vocal appreciation from their
