ST MARY’S, BALDERSTONE

-

WE hear an awful lot about promises, from politicians, when we get married or between friends. Us, being human don’t always manage to keep the promises we make. However, God does.

This morning at our Women’s Breakfast we are looking at how God keeps his promises through Jesus. All ladies are welcome to join us, 9 am until 10:30 am- food, friendship and a chance to stop, just for a little while. Maybe we’ll see you there.

How good it is to be in God’s house together!

Last Sunday was full of fun, faith, and love.

Congratulations to those who were confirmed. Being in community together is a such a blessing and we are so grateful for all our St M’s family.

Tomorrow our morning service starts at 10.30am. We’ll be continuing our sermon series in Galatians. Sunday School will be available for ages

four-11.

SMURFS (St Mary’s Under Fives) meets on Tuesday afternoon

1.30pm-3pm in the parish room. It costs £1 for one adult with child and an extra 30p each for extra children.

We’ll be thinking about the theme of light. That we can sparkle and shine because of Jesus. There will be all the usual stay and play fun and there may be a few treats and surprises too.

Midweek Bible Studies continue with unit six from the series ‘God’s Big Picture:- an overview of the Bible’. This week’s session we’ll be looking at ‘The Prophesied Kingdom’.

On Wednesday there is a daytime group which meets at 10am in the church lounge, and an evening group which meets at 7.30pm at the home of a group member. Thursday evening, 7.20pm-9pm, Zoom only.
