ST MARY’S, BALDERSTONE

-

WE are absolutely thrilled to invite you and your friends and family to join us for our Christmas activities this year.

This morning we have a special Christmas themed coffee morning from 10am till 1pm.

Do you need a break amid all the planning and preparations?

There will be a special Christmas craft.

The usual cake and craft stalls will be available and there’ll be a couple of Christmas themed stalls too - perfect for those stocking filler gifts or a treat for yourself.

Why not pop in for a brew or a cup of mulled wine, a toasted teacake or a mince pie (or three) and a chat. Admission is free and a warm welcome awaits.

Whether it’s the new Hunger Games movie, Marvel characters, Star Wars, our favourite celebs or our friends - we all love to know how people ended up where they are.

Christmas is the ultimate origin story.

We’d love to welcome you tomorrow at 10.30am as we revisit Christ’s birth in our Nativity service.

This family friendly service is always full to the brim with carols, drama and lots of festive fun.

Feel free to come dressed as your favourite character from the Christmas Story.

Light refreshments will be served in the parish room after the service.

There will be no prayer gathering tomorrow evening.

The prayer group will now resume in the new year.

SMURFS (St Mary’s Under Fives) meets on Tuesday afternoon from 1.30pm to 3pm in the parish room.

It costs £1 for one adult with child and an extra 30p each for extra children.

Our midweek Bible studies are currently taking a festive break and will return in January.
