Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa in Rochdale was revealed as the most popular spa, taking 42 per cent of all bookings through the website in Greater Manchester.
The spa provides a secluded escape from the bustle of the city while still being in easy reach, and boasts a gym, swimming pool, thermal suit, and six spa treatment rooms.
Ranking in second place is Manchester Piccadilly Hotel and Spa located in the heart of the city.
The spa offers Elemis treatments, as well as a gym, thermal suite, sauna and steam room. It’s an ideal destination if you want to combine a spa trip with a city break in Manchester.
The third most popular spa is Delta Hotels by Marriott Manchester Airport, ideal for those who are planning a romantic getaway and want to relax before their flight. It has spa break deals with a range of individual treatments on offer, and there’s
also a swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi and gym.
The Lowry Hotel was named the fourth most
booked. The luxury hotel, just a stone’s throw from the city centre, uses Elemis products and offers a range of treatments,
which promises visitors to ‘leave gorgeous’. There are spa packages you can book, which include luxuries such as
yoga and even a cream tea. Malmaison Manchester came in fifth place, offering ‘trademark urban chic style and ambience’.
Visitors can enjoy an ‘extensive menu of treatments’ which guarantee a relaxing experience after a day exploring the city.
