SPOTLAND PRIMARY

CONGRATULA­TIONS to the children who received certificat­es for ‘Most progress in PSHE.’

They were Raheem Fs1am, Zayaan Fs1pm, Shahan FS2P, Daniel FS2J, Bryan and Nimra 1S,

Suleiman 1L, Hussain 2K, Minahil 2B, Joshua and Gloria 3N, Sofia 3L, Angela 4B, Safanoor 4H, Zoya 5N, Harris 5A, Kashaf 6H and Lacey 6W.

The Punctualit­y Awards went to Fs1am, Fs1pm, FS2P, 1L, 1S, 2B, 3N, 3L, 4B, 4H, 5A, 6H and 6W.

The Best Attendance

Awards went to 1L, 3L, 4B and 6W.

The Best Attendance and Punctualit­y Award went to 3L.

The Tidy Classroom Award went to 3L.

Mr Happy Apple was won by Lacey 6W.

The ‘Big Thank You’ was read by Haadia 6H.

We enjoyed singing ‘Hall of Fame,’ chosen by 4B.

The winning team was Blue with four points, followed by Yellow with three points, Red with two points and Green with one point.

Our UKS2 Dodgeball team took part in the

Connect Dodgeball Tournament at Norden Primary School, last week.

Eight schools took part, with Spotland winning all bar one of their matches.

The children were thrilled to achieve silver medals in the tournament, after coming in second place.

They had a super time taking part and we are extremely proud of the effort and enthusiasm they showed.

There are still places available in our nursery (morning or afternoon sessions).

School has closed for the half-term holiday.

We will re-open on Monday, February 27.

Breakfast Club will be open on this day, as normal.
